Signature Dentistry of Macon, the private dental practice of Dr. Amber P. Lawson, is seeking a Practice/Office Manager.

This role includes a variety of detailed and “people-focused” tasks. The PM is the “person on point” in the office to oversee staff performance, maintain personnel records and adherence to employment policy, establish and support business initiatives, implement growth strategies, manage accounts receivable, be a personal assistant to Dr. Lawson, problem solve, and implement marketing strategies. Additionally, you will be cross-trained in dental administrative functions that include reviewing treatment plans with patients, tracking insurance claims, processing billing, and establishing payment arrangements.

Signature Dentistry of Macon employs seven full time staff members and we have plans for expansion. Our mission is to offer a wide scope of services including cosmetic dentistry, sedation, single tooth (dental implant) replacement, and classic general dental services. Our reputation is built by providing distinctive, quality services with compassion, professionalism… and, humor!

A qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills, several years of personnel management, team building and strategic problem-solving experience.

Qualifications to apply for this position:

1. Minimum 3 years of business experience including personnel management.

2. BS or BA from accredited University or equivalent skills gained through work experience.

3. Excellent verifiable references and stable work history.

4. Software aptitude and computer-friendly attitude!

5. Leadership skills.

6. Initiative and time to devote to self-study to learn medical/dental coding, billing procedures and software that is industry specific.
