Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. From 5600 up to 10250 Qatari Riyals per month. 10 250 QAR is +/- 2040 GBP / 2300 EUR/ 2770 USD.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Diploma in Science or Diploma in Respiratory Therapy.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years LICENSED experience in the field of pulmonary diagnostic areas as pulmonary function technician.
LICENSE: Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health”.
AGE: As per hospital policy only candidates up to the age of 49 will be considered.

Administers basic pulmonary diagnostic evaluation with skill and proficiency. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols and pathways for optional care delivery. Assumes responsibility for self-development through continuing education pathways.
Perform pulmonary function tests; these are a group of diagnostic tests that provide information about airway function, alterations of lung volume, and disturbances of gas exchange. The routine pulmonary function test: spirometry: measures of forced exhaled volume measures of lung volumes diffusing capacity.
Assisting pulmonary function technologists in cardio-pulmonary exercise testing, six minute walk test, exercise provocation test methacholine challenge test. -assisting specialized pulmonary function procedures like exhaled nitric oxide testing and impulse osillometry, -perform skin prick testing, -technical assistance in bronchoscopy, and medical thoracoscopy units - perform oximetry & ETCO2 (end tidal carbon dioxide) monitoring - perform sleep disorder studies including CPAP and BiPAP titrations - perform CPAP and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation trials and mask fittings -perform therapeutic activities include: medical gases and aerosol therapy including pharmacological agents, administration, noninvasive ventilation and patient education.
