Clinical RIS Support Level I
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Clinical Radiology Systems Support person is responsible for assisting with the configuration, support, training and routine maintenance of the University Radiology RIS (Radiology Information System) department applications. The role will primarily support the dictation system Nuance Powerscribe360 and reporting server Nuance mPower. In addition to their Powerscribe360 support the position will serve as a backup support for all other RIS applications including and not limited to; Medinformatix, Fax application, PhoneTree application, physician/patient web portal. This role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day RIS configuration, maintenance and support, log files clean-up, exception handling, and error mitigation. This position is also responsible for establishing relationships w/ and supporting radiologists in order to provide them w/ the necessary configuration to perform their tasks, including (but not limited to) training.
Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Powerscribe360 and mPower applications and database;
Provide first response to level 1 helpdesk computer systems problems related to RIS system;
Maintain an organized and clearly documented workflow.
Interacts with internal clients and vendors to resolve help desk issues; communicates with internal clients and vendors in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality.
