Communication is the key to successful relationships and progress in the school systems. Without dedicated School Speech Therapists, many students would have a hard time in everyday functions. Supplemental Health Care has an immediate need for a School Speech-Language Pathologist to travel to Fulton County; Atlanta, Ga.
This Speech Therapy position will begin for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. This is a full time, 37 hours per week contract. All levels of experience are welcomed, but you must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Candidates must be willing to provide and direct speech-language services to children ages 0-22 in a variety of early intervention and educational
settings. The school-based Speech-Language Pathologist’s (SLP) focus is the communication abilities of students. The SLP’s goal is to remediate, improve, or alleviate communication and swallowing problems to help students achieve their maximum potential in learning, social, prevocational/vocational, and recreational activities. SLPs may supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in their provision of services to students.
